This VR e-learning demo on injection molding was developed in Unreal Engine 5 over 2–3 months by a two-person team at Kiewitz Studio for Molding Expert. As the lead developer, I implemented VR controls, interactive physical buttons, a quiz system, and hand tools, along with an in-game slideshow and a certificate awarded upon completion. All assets were created in-house, and the vr experience was designed as a single-level training module. The demo runs on both Oculus Quest 2 and 3 glasses. It was also showcased and tested at an industry fair, gathering valuable feedback from attendees.
We created a texture atlas to use for tileable wall and floor panels and made a shader to guide users to points of interest.
